Parking Information
Wesley Hall has a small, free car park located around the back of the building. If you drive down beside the Methodist Church and turn right behind the Scouts building at the end there is a small car park to the side of Wesley Hall.
If there is no space in the car park on site then there are many nearby car parks including Waitrose and a pay and display car park next to Newtons Doctors Surgery.

*Use of toilets should be minimised as far as possible.

Whoosh Learning offers messy play sessions for parents and children in Sussex. Our sessions allow children the freedom to explore and express themselves whilst embracing the messiness of creative and imaginative play. Sessions are planned around a fun and inspiring theme, offer a story, music and movement time and is owned and run by an experienced Early Years teacher. Disclaimer - please note that anyone found to be misusing the discount code will be invoiced for the full amount. COVID 19 UPDATE Arrival at your venue: *Please be respectful of social distancing. Entering the room: *Once inside the venue there will be hand sanitiser available. Please use on entrance and exit. Please also remove any outdoor shoes before starting to explore. * You may wish to wear a face covering but this is no longer mandatory. What to bring: *Please bring your own sanitiser and wipes if you or your child has sensitive skin or if you wish to have it to hand as you travel around the activities. *Please ensure you bring nappy sacks so that you can take home any soiled or wet nappies. They must not be left at the venue. *You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you need to change your child. *Please bring your own towel. We will only be providing paper towels. *Bring your own snack and drink for you and your child. As always please be careful with any hot drink in travel mugs. What to expect during a session: Messy Play activities: The different activities will be spaced around the hall. Please respect the each others space around the trays. Storytime and Singing time: *Each grown up /child will have their own orange/blue spot to sit upon or “Launchpad”. These will be ready set up in the room with social distancing in mind. Please sit with your little one on your launchpad. *You and your child can enjoy a snack whilst we have our storytime. *We will have bubbles at the end of the session. Additional information: If you are due to miss a session, please do let Louise know in advance where possible. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions. Track and Trace: Please ensure that all your contact details on Class4 Kids is up to date -this will be our record for track and trace. Self-Screening at Home: Before you come to a Whoosh session please be confident that you or your child show no signs of illness e.g. runny nose, cough, chills, sore throat, high temperature and has not had any exposure to anyone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19. Please do not attend the class if you or your child has any of the above symptoms and let us know you are staying at home. If you do not attend a class then PLEASE let Louise know if you have any COVID symptoms.

Camp notes

Jingle mess, jingle mess, jingle all the way! Put on your Christmas jumpers and join the best festive party of the season! Mums, dads, boys and girls, whether you've been naughty or nice this year, everyone can have a jolly messy time with us at Messy Whooshmas. Little ones can mess around with fun activities like reindeer dust, Brussel sprout rolling and candy cane rice, or get messy with our festive treats such as angel foam. You could even make last minute reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve for Rudolph and friends. All you have to do is come along and mess around, and leave the cleaning up to us! What better way to get into the festive spirit?

The event is suitable for children aged between 1 years old (or sitting unaided) to 5 years old. What makes us special is everyone is welcome to join in including older siblings up to the age of 7.

What time should we arrive?
The session starts at 10.00 am and finishes at 11.00 am.

How will the session be structured?
50 minutes – free exploration of the theme – let your child take the lead
Tidy up and enjoy a Christmas sing song!

Festive Snack
There will be a rolling tea/coffee and snack area set up with some yummy treats. Unlike normal sessions you can decide when to take a moment to sit on the comfy cushions, read a story and enjoy a snack as a family.
